Axon' India approved as an Authorized Economic Operator

One year and a half after Axon’ Cable in France, the Indian subsidiary Axon’ Interconnectors and Wires PVT located in Bangalore has just been approved by the Indian Customs as Authorised Economic Operator (AEO-T1). This status enables Axon’s PVT’s customers to receive their goods more rapidly as customs procedures are simplified when importing raw materials and exporting finished products. This label illustrates the group commitment in continuously improving customer satisfaction. A trusted business partner AEO provides businesses with an internationally recognized security standard and certifies Axon’ PVT as “secure” and “reliable” partner. Lower rate of physical inspections of imported/exported goods, faster release of shipments, deferred payment of duties are examples of the benefits of this status which then allows for an easier access to simplified customs procedures when importing or exporting. Axon’ Interconnects and Wires is one of the first company involved in aeronautics, space and defense to be AEO approved in India. About Axon’ India Axon’ Interconnectors and Wires PVT is a subsidiary of Axon’, a French group headquartered in Montmirail in the beautiful Champagne region in France. Located in Bangalore since 2010, Axon’ PVT produces state-of-the-art wires and cable harnesses using “made in India” Micro-D connectors or any other connectors where specified. Axon’ created a new factory in 2013 but the company, viewing India as a strategic market, has decided to build a new plant at the Devanahalli Aerospace Park close to the international airport in Bangalore. The 70 employees should move to the new building at the end of 2018. A ISO 8 clean room dedicated to space applications is to be built in this new building.
