East Coast & Aura Graphics train wrap to remember
Another fantastic train livery and one to make us extra proud as Aura Graphics produces a wrap to remember the fallen of the Great War. East Coast’s reveals the newly named locomotive 91 111 ‘For The Fallen’ in commemoration of the century anniversary of the start of WWI. The ceremony was held in Newcastle on the 14th October 2014. The specially-designed East Coast train carries a livery filled with images, stories and tributes to regiments and people who served in the Great War across the East Coast route. Tributes paid included the 20,000 British railway workers who lost their lives after volunteering to service in 1914. East Coast, Aura Graphics and designer Paul Gentleman worked with five regiments from key locations up and down the route between London and Leeds to come up with eye catching design. The design tells a story from the Union flag representing the patriotism during the initial period of the start of the war right through to remembrance poppy fields.
