Engaging ACHEMA 2018 for Astell

Astell Scientific took part in the recent ACHEMA 2018 trade exhibition held in Frankfurt, which is aimed at Chemical Engineering, Environmental Protection and Biotechnology. Held over five days, ACHEMA combines a number of large exhibition halls with a congress focussed on chemical engineering and the process industry. Astell’s sterilizer products proved a popular attraction in Hall 4, with staff reporting over one hundred autoclave leads and a selection of enquiries for Effluent Decontamination Systems. With a cross section of visitors from all five continents, the show also provided ample opportunity for meetings with potential dealers about service, supply and distribution. Astell displayed examples of its AMA240 and AMB230 ‘Autofill’ circular-section autoclaves, which are self-contained and require only filling with water and connecting to a power supply in order to operate. These compact units are an efficient and cost effective addition to any laboratory. On the event Sales & Marketing Director, Paul Birchmore commented, “Early indications are positive and we look forward to progressing the many leads and partnerships identified during the week.
