The Type 20 miniature belt conveyor systems are versatile and extremely compact. Mini belt conveyors are designed for transporting small parts within automated machines where conveyor space is limited. These very small conveyors use compact external DC motors with a direct drive at the drive end.
They are typically used for moving small, lightweight components in applications such as small parts manufacturing, food processing and pharmaceutical production. As they are intended for light-duty applications, the weight capacities are relatively low and the operating speeds are generally lower than those of AC motor-driven belt conveyors.
Miniature conveyor for moving small parts
We also manufacture and supply a 120 mm wide Type 20 miniature conveyor, available in standard lengths of 500 mm or 1000 mm. The weight capacity is up to 500 g. Side guides and stands up to 80 mm in height can also be supplied.
These standard miniature belt conveyors are based on aluminium profiles with 5 mm T-slots, allowing for easy mounting and positioning within machinery or production systems.

Belt type: Blue flexible FDA belt as standard with positive belt tracking
Length: 500 mm and 1000 mm as standard. Other lengths are available from 150 mm upwards and beyond the standard 1000 mm, subject to application requirements. Please contact us to discuss options. Additional charges may apply for custom belt lengths.
Speed: Nominally 9 m/min (Option A) or 27 m/min (Option B) under no or very low load. Speeds will reduce under heavier loads.
Motor: 24 V DC motor. Current (no or very low load) 0.15 A, maximum 0.42 A.
Weight capacity: Nominally up to 1 kg per metre, depending on the motor selected, the product being conveyed and the operating environment. Please contact us for further guidance.
