Type 20 miniature belt conveyor systems on a 5 day lead time!

The Type 20 miniature belt conveyor systems are versatile and extremely compact, ideal for moving small parts where conveyor space is limited. Designed for use in automated machinery, they feature small external 24 V DC motors with direct drive at the head end. As they are primarily used for light components in sectors such as small-parts manufacture, food, and pharmaceuticals, load capacities are modest and standard speeds are lower than those of AC-motor conveyors.

We also manufacture a 120 mm-wide Type 20 Miniature Conveyor supplied in 500 mm or 1,000 mm lengths, with a load capacity of 500 g. Side guides and pedestal stands up to 80 mm height are available.

These standard miniature conveyors use aluminium profiles with 5 mm T-slots for easy mounting and positioning.

Speed control and power

• Speed controller: 24 V DC, 0.1 A jack-plug input (compatible with the 24 V DC power supply). Variable speed via PWM (pulse-width modulation). Adjustment is available from approximately 9 m/min downwards due to PWM characteristics. Compact plastic housing with on/off/adjust knob.

• Power supply: 240 V AC to 24 V DC transformer with jack plug for the speed controller. It can be used without the controller by removing the jack and wiring directly to the motor terminals.

• Slot nuts: for the aluminium profile to mount accessories and plates; thread sizes M3, M4, M5.

Key dimensions and options

• Widths: 20 mm profile (belt 19 mm), 60 mm profile (belt 59 mm), 120 mm profile (belt 119 mm)

• Standard lengths: 500 mm and 1,000 mm

  • Other lengths from 150 mm upwards are possible (subject to application and a surcharge for special belt manufacture)

• Rollers: 20 mm diameter; profile height 20 mm

• Belt: blue flexible FDA-compliant belt with positive tracking

• Speed options (no/low load):

  • Option A: ~9 m/min

  • Option B: ~27 m/min

  • Speeds reduce under heavier loads

• Motor: 24 V DC; current draw ~0.15 A (no/low load) up to max ~0.42 A

• Load capacity: typically up to 1 kg/m, dependent on motor selection, product, and environment—please enquire for guidance
