LPS1277 approved companies

The LPS 1277 approval scheme brings all the various Alarm Transmission System (ATS) requirements relevant to the UK fire and intruder alarm market together. It also deals with any omissions and ambiguities of existing European and national standards. LPS 1277 is referred to as the LPCB UK Standard for the monitoring of Intruder and Hold Up Alarms in the UK, LPS 1277 is not a British Standard as such, it is more of an insurance approval. You will commonly hear it mentioned along side the words RedBook or GreenBook, as this is many insurance companies preferred standard. LPS1277 is designed in conjunction with LPCB to improve standards in the industry, it is only applicable for dual path signalling and the main objective of this standard is to ensure both signalling paths perform equally. LPS 1277 is only applicable on higher security solutions with either Grade 3 or Grade 4 Monitoring.
