Emptying of Cesspits

Cesspits are a sealed tank which takes all of the liquid effluent from the property, which as well as sewage waste, would also include waste water from sinks, baths and showers. Because cesspits are fully sealed apart from the manhole cover, they will need to be emptied on a more frequent basis.
