We offer powerful yet easy-to-use vehicle radios for hire, fully compatible with our walkie-talkies. Each unit comes with a 12-volt power lead that plugs into the vehicle�s cigarette lighter socket, and a magnetic-mount antenna that attaches securely to the roof or body of the car or van.
The radios measure approximately 15cm wide, 13cm deep and 4cm thick, and weigh around 800g. With a 25-watt output, they offer a much greater range than standard walkie-talkies, which typically have only 4 watts. This extended range is particularly useful when communicating between moving vehicles, where staying in touch can otherwise be difficult.
Our vehicle radios can be used alongside handheld walkie-talkies, other mobile units and base stations, making them ideal for events, security patrols, or group travel. We supply both UHF and VHF models, as well as digital versions that work with our Hytera digital walkie-talkies.
They are popular with car clubs, organisations and groups of friends travelling in convoy, helping everyone stay connected and avoid getting lost, especially if someone needs to stop or misses a turn.
