Base Station Radios For Hire

We offer powerful, easy-to-use Kirisun base station radios for hire, available in both VHF and UHF. These radios are fully compatible with our walkie-talkies and are ideal for use in buildings, cabins, caravans, or similar fixed locations. Each base station hire includes the radio unit, a mains power transformer, and a 10-metre aerial lead with a clip-on antenna that can be attached to a suitable support for optimal coverage. The radio measures 15cm wide, 13cm deep and 4cm thick, and weighs 800g. The transformer adds an extra 2.8kg. It operates on 8 preset channels matched to our walkie-talkies and offers a range of up to 8-10 miles in open areas, with reduced range indoors or in built-up environments. The radios use our Ofcom-licensed VHF or UHF frequencies, so there�s no licence paperwork for you to worry about. If you have your own Ofcom frequency, we can reprogram the radios for a small fee.
