The new annual competition invites councils, In Bloom groups, schools, charities and community organisations to submit project stories and photographs, with a £300 planter contribution for the winner. Amberol's approach combines durable British-made street furniture with practical features intended to reduce maintenance and make public-space projects easier to manage over the longer term.

The company's self-watering planters, recycling and litter bins, seating and related products are designed for demanding outdoor environments. Many can also be customised with colour, branding or signage so that schemes can be coordinated with local identity, events or environmental campaigns.
