Safety Comes First
Every construction site presents its own challenges, but one thing never changes: safety is non-negotiable. A shoring system must protect operatives, minimise disturbance to surrounding ground conditions, and maximise usable working space. For more than 70 years, the E+S and KRINGS shoring systems supplied by terra infrastructure have delivered reliable, cost-effective solutions for civil engineering projects in the UK and overseas, without cutting corners on safety.
Proven Expertise You Can Rely On
Terra Infrastructure is recognised worldwide as a leading specialist in trench shoring. We supply an extensive range of shoring equipment and complementary products, alongside temporary construction site roads in steel or plastic. Installation services are also available where required.
For many projects, hiring is the most economical option. Our large rental fleet allows us to supply the right system for everything from small works to major infrastructure schemes, without compromise.
Slide Rail Systems
A Globally Unique, Patented Solution
E+S linear shoring systems offer exceptional flexibility, available as single or double slide rail configurations, including stepped variants and deep shoring systems up to 9 m or 12 m. Expert technical guidance ensures each project uses the most efficient system in the most economical combination.
Rigid bogie cars maintain constant spacing between soldiers and panels, keeping everything perfectly aligned. This results in faster installation, improved efficiency, and noticeably lower overall costs. The specially designed soldiers allow panels to be pivoted in from the side, removing the need for working at height.
An innovative trench end shoring bogie car transfers both side and front loads directly into the shoring, allowing sheet piles to lean safely against the system. Installation is low-vibration, helping to protect nearby buildings and maintain traffic flow. The system can also act as formwork for cast-in-situ concrete.
Key Advantages
Low-vibration installation
Minimal impact on surrounding ground
No disruption to nearby buildings or traffic
Flexible pipe clearance heights with generous working space
Large trench widths and depths achievable
Suitable for cast-in-situ concrete formwork
Ideal for manholes
Open panel guidance prevents soil jamming
Panels installed from outside, avoiding work at height
Available for operated hire with or without an excavator
Box Shoring Systems
E+S Box Shoring
E+S box systems provide a safe and economical solution for demanding projects, with shoring wall heights of up to 6 metres and pipe clearance heights up to 2.46 metres. Robust spreading systems accommodate large trench widths and are fully compatible across the range.
KRINGS Box Shoring
KRINGS edge-supported box shoring systems are designed for versatility and efficiency. They are compact for transport and storage, quick to assemble on site, and well suited to confined locations.
The KVL steel box is ideal for inner-city work, the KS 60 is commonly used for urban sewer construction, and the KS 100 is designed for greater depths. With an adapter solution, KS 60 and KS 100 spindles can also be used with the KVL box, allowing increased trench widths where needed.
