Advanced Machinery Services buy up complete Wadkin stock

At the recent auction marking the liquidation of the Wadkin company, Steve McGloin and Steve Foster of Advanced Machinery Services (AMS) purchased the majority of the stock machines and the entire spares inventory. At AMS they intend to "offer the spares and service that Wadkin machinery operators have the right to deserve". They and there 12 strong workforce are Wadkin through and through, all being past employees, and have even occupied 15,000 square feet of the old Wadkin Site at Green Lane Road, Leicester. Since their formation, the company have developed a wide ranging expertise in traing, spare parts, rebuild services and machines, tooling, servicing and technical support.
