ADVANCED DYNAMICS SIGNS ARMED FORCES COVENANT

Advanced Dynamics, one of the UK’s leading packaging, filling and labelling equipment suppliers, has become the latest business to sign the Armed Forces Covenant. The declaration will see the Bradford-based business take on an enhanced commitment to supporting serving military, veterans and families. Part of that will see the company, which completed an MBO during June 21, support the employment of veterans young and old, recognising military skills and qualifications in its recruitment and selection process. It will also support its employees who have ambitions to be members of the reserve forces, accommodating their training and deployment requirements where possible. The Armed Forces Covenant was launched as a pledge to support the armed forces community by recognising the value of service personnel, veterans and military families, including their contribution to the organisation and the local area. The covenant focuses on helping members of the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial jobs, services and products as any other citizen. Tom Smith, managing director at Advanced Dynamics, said: “From a young age, I’ve been deeply patriotic and a large reason behind that comes from our armed forces and the way we remember those that fought for and represented our country. “How we commemorate Remembrance Sunday is a tradition that we should never forget as a nation.
