Location: Leigh, Lancashire Description: .NET Software Developer – Leigh, Lancashire / Greater Manchester £25-35K. Our growing client based in Leigh (Lancashire /Greater Manchester) is currently looking for a number of .NET Developers. The company specialises in the production of business applications for specific vertical markets, such as service management and warehousing Core Skill Set: This is an exciting and varied role and will involve all aspects of software development, including requirements gathering, system prototyping, specification, design, development, testing and support. Programming experience, together with excellent written and spoken English is essential. Preferred Languages: Knowledge of MS-SQL - SQL Server 2000 - 2012, VB6, VB.Net, ASP.NET, Java and C# Working with a small team of developers to design and develop software solutions for our mobile computing products and desktop applications. Responsibilities would include working with customers to define requirements, developing robust software architecture, creating a schedule of works where required, (project plan) and ultimately delivering the best solution to meet the customer’s needs. Additional responsibilities will include performing hands-on development and debugging/ support activities through our systems. The ideal candidate will need to work effectively in a team as well as independently. Must be able to learn quickly and work well under pressure.
