Custom Sized Grease Mesh Filters

Ace Filtration can manufacture non-standard grease mesh filters when standard stock sizes are not suitable for an extractor hood or filtration system.

The company advises customers to measure existing filters carefully, recording the width, height and depth in millimetres. Where a correctly sized old filter is available, the filter itself should be measured rather than the surrounding housing.

If the original filter is missing, the internal opening of the filter housing can be measured instead. A small allowance is normally required so that the finished filter can be inserted and removed easily without being loose in the frame.

Using several smaller filters rather than one large unit can sometimes make cleaning, handling and installation easier, depending on the extractor arrangement.
