Whilst we provide the standard blue zirconia flap discs (we insist on only selling you a good quality zirconia material), but we can also do so much more... Technical advances in abrasives have allowed us to produce new types of flap discs for faster metal working, by a combination of higher performance and the need for fewer process stages. For example the Rapid Combi-Disc (RCD) incorporates innovations in both coated and nonwoven abrasives to perform grinding and blending in one operation. For stainless steel grinding we will automatically recommend 'next generation' technology with our ceramic abrasive flap discs and if keeping a flat surface is important we even have a flap disc that can do that. X-Tend discs give the performance advantage of the ceramic grain with a flexible edge to give much greater control and reduce the risk of gouging.
