The Sumake Hi-Lok Installation Tool is built for the installation of Hi-Lok Fasteners which consist of a threaded pin and a self locking threaded collar, commonly used across the Aerospace Industry for structural assemblies. Two-part design: A Hi-Lok consists of a threaded pin and a self-locking threaded collar.
The pin: This is the threaded bolt-like component. One end has a recessed hexagonal shape (an Allen key socket) to hold it stationary during installation. It has an integrated wrenching device that shears off automatically once the proper torque is reached.
