Stand on the push side of the door - retract the latch where fitted 3. Place plunger end 90º to door face - near leading edge and 1 m from floor 4. Holding the gauge firmly, use it to push the door open with slow, steady pressure 5. Read from the kg scale on the flange side of the ‘O’ ring 6. Multiply this reading by 10 to arrive at Newton (N) equivalent
