Conservatory Warm Roof Replacement Dosthill

🔵A job we finished recently was this warm roof replacement to a conservatory on property in Dosthill, Tamworth .🏠

⚫️Firstly we removed the old Polycarbonate roof sheets and aluminium roof bars.

🔵We then fitted new timber roof joists. These had to be raised by the house to create a roof structure of 15 degrees.

⚫️Structural moisture resistant OSB3 sheets were then fitted to the structure and then covered with a breathable membrane.

🔵Lightweight plastic roofing slates, were then screwed to the timber boards and a lead flashing was applied and fixed to a pre cut groove in the house wall.

⚫️The wall was finished off at the top with a tiled crease and blue bricks.

🔵Inside, we insulated between the roofing timbers with 120mm celotex insulation.

⚫️Electrical supplies were installed before the ceiling was boarded with 37mm insulated plasterboard.

🔵The ceiling was then finished with a plaster skim.

⚫️The electricians then returned to fit the LED downlights.
