iGaming has been at the forefront of B2B news headlines recently, highlighting ongoing trends and strategies in the industry. With that in mind, let's dive into some of the key trends and innovations in the news in 2026.
Expanding into New Markets
Over the past year, many iGaming developers and platforms have expanded into new markets by making strategic partnerships with other brands. For example, Buzz Bingo, a British online casino platform powered by Playtech software, has partnered with brands like Gaming Corps, S Gaming, and Spinomenal, to name just a few, in the last year, expanding the range of games available.
But this isn't the only expansion we are seeing in iGaming. Brands are also looking to expand into new global markets. For instance, Blueprint Gaming is known for innovative online games such as the Eye of Horus slot, which was inspired by the physical game of the same name developed by Reel Time Gaming. These games can be accessed through a range of online platforms in the UK and throughout Europe.
In recent news, Blueprint Gaming has also made a move to tap into other markets around the world, specifically in South Africa. This illustrates how iGaming brands are looking to expand both the games they offer and the locations in which they operate, expanding into new markets in 2026.

Prize Draw Technology
In other recent B2B news, the former CEO of KaFe Rocks has used the experience gained in iGaming to develop a multi-industry solution. KaFe Rocks was acquired by the Gaming Innovation Group in 2023, just a year after Simon Pilkington stepped down as CEO. Interestingly, the £30 million deal was actually part of GiG's plan to diversify their business and expand into new markets, particularly in North America.
After KaFe, Pilkington has been working with the Project32 Group. Through this, he has recently announced a new prize draw supplier, which focuses on customer experience and player protection, an emphasis he credits to working in iGaming. PrizeBox is essentially a customisable raffle engine that can be integrated into online platforms, and has the potential to improve prize draws offered by multiple online casino brands in the future.
Wider Range of Secure Payments
Further to the renewed focus on player protection, another trend we are seeing is the development and adoption of payment methods with higher levels of security. Another partnership to hit B2B iGaming headlines is that between Primer and Paysafe. Primer is used by many merchants across North America, Europe and Oceania, including online casino platforms; Paysafe develops secure payment processing and digital wallets for online services.
Working through the Primer for Partners scheme, Paysafe has developed a bespoke integration, which allows any platform that uses Primer software to benefit from Paysafe's secure payment processing. According to Primer's CEO, Gabriel Le Roux, this also allows for better coverage, faster access to Paysafe processing, and an optimised, streamlined payment solution.
As you can see, recent B2B iGaming news is exemplary of wider trends within the industry, looking at expanding into new markets with a wider range of games, or expanding globally through strategic partnerships, and a focus on prioritising customer service, functionality, and security, through innovative prize draw and payment software integrations.
