Access Doors

Access doors are designed as a safety feature for heating, ventilation and air conditioning system they are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes and allow technicians a safe and effective way of gaining entry to the ducting on a HVAC system so that the in-duct components can be serviced/maintained. Many components under legislation need to be regularly serviced and tested to ensure they are still safe, servicing will also mean that any potential faults are spotted early - this will prevent the potential breakdowns. It also allows for important cleaning to be undertaken, conditioned air travels through the ducting where airborne containment build-up - this air is then distributed into rooms and spaces which are connected to the system and will be breathed in which can cause long term health issues. The access panels are available in 4 different styles: tabbed, flat oval, curved oval and pressed access doors all of which come in different sizes ranging from 50mm to 2000mm and can have additional safety features such as chains to help when taking the door off. The doors vary so can be used in different applications and depending on the ducting.
