EMA’s medical literature monitoring service fully operational

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) started full operation of its medical literature monitoring service on 1st September 2015. The new service, which has been developed as a result of the European Union’s (EU) pharmacovigilance legislation, was launched in July 2015. The extended service will improve safety monitoring of medicines as well as streamline company pharmacovigilance activities by reducing duplication and improving data quality and consistency.
