New Build Noise Assessments (BS8233)

Sound Planning conducts noise assessments for new build or change of use properties. The assessment considers road, rail or air traffic; and potential industrial/commercial noise. A 24 hour noise assessment is conducted using Type 1 UKAS calibrated sound level meters. Sound Planning can then calculate the required specification detail for the building facade in conjunction with British Standard 8233. Sound Planning submits the acoustic report, liaising with the local authority in order to satisfy all requirements.
