Dividing Wall Demolition

Demolition in Peterborough – Our client’s expanding logistics operation required the removal of a large internal wall within their facility. Lubet were contracted to coordinate the project, starting with a structural survey to determine the possible implications of removing the wall. The demolition of the reinforced concrete wall was undertaken by our groundworks partner, Peak Hill. The erection of a sealed enclosure around the demolition area and multiple dust suppression systems enabled it to be undertaken whilst our client’s operations in the surrounding area continued. The remaining RSJ, formerly encased in concrete, was removed shortly after the demolition of the wall by Lubet operatives. To ensure ease of disposal at our client’s own recycling facility, the beam was cut into smaller manageable sections once on the ground.
