Underpinning Jacks
Underpinning is a technique used to strengthen the foundation of an insecure building or extension. It’s usually used when a structure is suffering from current or previous subsidence, often due to soil conditions and/or poor original foundation.

Normally, underpinning is required when the structure’s foundations move (subsidence),and the foundations need to be repaired & strengthened. The soil beneath the existing foundation is excavated, supported in situ with Underpinning Jacks. The underpinning jacks are left in place and the excavated void is flooded with concrete to repair and strengthen the structure of the property.

Subsidence occurs when the supporting soil below the foundation moves away from the structure, taking away its support. This causes the structure to move, and although there are many reasons for why this happens, many are a result of either physical problems with the original foundations itself or issues with the ground and soil below the foundations.
Available as standard in 3 different sizes to suit required depth, Also can be fabricated to suit individual needs if required.
