Tell us what you do at Domus! Your job title, region, area of expertise. Product & Marketing Manager I’m mainly based at the Head Office but am tasked with customer visits which can take me all over the UK. It’s also important for me to attend exhibitions which we are either attending or feel would be a good gateway to our customer base. I have a marketing communications background, but I really enjoyed the NPD process which allowed me to get involved in the project side of the business and thus led me to Product Management as well. I’m involved in the end-to-end process of all product launches, whilst supporting our national external sales team. How long have you been working with us? Nearly 3 years. What do you do in your spare time? I’m the person who plans every spare minute meaning I rarely have a quiet day, even on weekends! I really enjoy watching live music and going to festivals; I’ve been to Glastonbury three times now! Socialising with friends and family takes up most of my time, but I also love taking a long weekend to travel with my wife. We’ve started a bit of a Christmas market tradition with friends, with last year taking us to Krakov, Poland. If I could I would travel the world full-time! If you could work on any project, what would it be? I’m a real foodie so give me the M&S Christmas food advert any day! What's been your favourite project so far? Launching the CMX-MULTI which is a new MEV (Mechanical Extract Ventilation) unit. It was hard work but really paid off when the unit achieved the best SFP on the market (that’s a very important aspect in Ventilation Specification sales!) I’m very proud to be part of a team who launched a market-leading product in our 2nd year of collaboration. Rugby or Football? Rugby of course- I’m Welsh! It's your round with the team, tea, coffee or something stronger? Gin & Tonic with a slice of orange (in a ridiculously oversized fishbowl glass!) If you could move your desk or your van anywhere in the world, where would you go? If I wanted a bit of peace and quiet to totally relax then the top of a mountain, somewhere like the Brecon Beacons or The Alps. Switzerland is on my bucket list. Even though I’m a city girl at heart, I love the tranquillity of being a million miles away. What's your perfect gift this Christmas? A honeymoon in South Africa this December with my lovely wife!
