The BILCO SKY Flatglass Roof Access Hatch and Skylight with a fixed ladder provide convenient access to roof areas while providing the added benefit of natural daylight.
The innovative, flat, sliding cover design features an electric actuator that opens the cover in a smooth and controlled motion with just one push of a button. There is also a manual option for the roof access hatch to enable the operator to unlock and unlatch the cover using an internal handle and then manually slide the cover open, no motor is fitted.
Special sizes can be specified.
The standard sized SKY-FLATGLASS-ACCESS 1000 x 1500 mm is a powered sliding roof access skylight. Also available as a manual option and at special sizes. Convenient direct access to roof areas with the added benefit of natural daylight. The unique, flat sliding cover design does not require wind deflectors and features a rigid PVC frame with external metal profiles.
The manual option enables the operator to unlock and unlatch the cover using an internal handle and then manually slide the cover open Ideal for use in exposed areas where a hinged opening is impractical. Over-lapping design ensures complete weathertightness.
The polyester upstand is fully insulated for energy efficiency. Low voltage actuator opens and closes the cover in a smooth and controlled motion. CE marked product can also be used as a ventilator for smoke ventilation protection.
