New Robotic Spraying Plant

ACT has invested £540k in a new robotic spraying plant to be commissioned at the end of 2014. This plant will be installed in our Tipton Road facility and will support the painting of interior trim components for JLR’s new Jaguar XE model to be launched in the spring of 2015. This plant will have the capability to coat parts up to 1.5m in length and will include 2k mixing and off-line programming technology to ensure the swift changeover between components and paint colours.
