Your Vocie Counts is an independent Charity that provides Advocacy for people with learning disaiblities and other vulnerable people. We work in Gateshead, South Tyneside and Newcastle upon Tyne. We have operated for over 25 years and our Board of Directors are made up of the people we support. We train and recruit volunteers to help in our groupwork and drop ins. We also deliver training in Independent Advocacy. We currently offer the City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate and Diploma in Independent Advocacy as well as the single specialist Advocacy units. ​ Our training has been designed with the delegate and the employer in mind and offers flexible person-centred learning putting the customer first. Training can be delivered to mixed groups or on a bespoke basis to meet the needs of individual organisations. ​ ​Our training is delivered by qualified tutors who are also highly experienced practising advocates with a mix of specialisms, providing you with a unique learning experience and ongoing support built into the programme.
