Metalforming Lubricants

Pressing, drawing and forming oils MILLFORM and MILLDRAW A range of drawing, pressing and forming lubricants with additive treatment levels for use across a wide spectrum of engineering applications on many forms of metal. Millform and Milldraw products are used primarily for fine blanking, stamping, cold forging and drawing applications including can, tube and bar. Our comprehensive range meets most metal requirements and multi-metal suitability which incorporate passivator additives for sensitive materials. Heavily additive treated oils cater for the more arduous applications such as deep drawing. The ‘Chlorine-free’ neat oil PF series of Millform products provides high performance on a variety of materials, whilst offering environmental and disposal benefits to the customer. Specialist applications, such as cold heading, is catered for with either a neat or water-extendible product like our synthetic Milldraw 2662. This utilises a sulphur and chlorine free formulation which is non-staining to copper parts. Wyse Oil offer a range of advanced water-washable neat oils which assist with cleaning operations after the deformation process. This is highly advantageous where aqueous cleaning systems are utilised opposed to solvent type wash plants. Biodegradable fluids are available for applications where environmental issues are concern.
