Stromag Limited is a daughter company of Stromag AG, the European market leader of clutch / brakes, discs, limit switches and torsionally flexible couplings. Clutches and brakes may be specified as mechanical, electromagnetic, hydraulic or pneumatic. Clutch torque up to 2,000,000Nm has been achieved, caliper brakes are suitable up to 250,000 Nm, industrial brakes up to 500,000Nm and motor brakes up to 10,000Nm. Flexible couplings are available from 15Nm with a simple hub shaft arrangement through to 450,000Nm suitable for direct mounting to engine flywheels. Clutch – Coupling ‘two in one’ units are also available with integrated bellhousing.
