What Is Constructionline? Constructionline is a procurement and supply chain management scheme that collects and verifies standard company information based on PAS 91. Health and safety are one of the mandatory sections of Constructionline. They will accept an SSIP member scheme certificate or an OHSAS 18001 certificate from a UKAS accredited certification body as an exemption from having to complete this section. Buyers can search the Constructionline database for suppliers using SSIP member certification as part of their search criteria. Many Constructionline buyers ask for SSIP member certification (or an appropriate OHSAS18001 certificate) as a condition of working for them. Constructionline DO NOT assess the responses to health and safety questions. Do not be confused. A Constructionline certificate does not cover competence in health and safety management and is therefore not an SSIP certificate.
