Our Services: Personal Care: We recognise that personal care is just that, it’s personal. Inviting a private carer into your home can be a big step. We understand this and that’s why we take the time to identify the carers we believe you’ll click with; those you feel comfortable with to help you with your personal care needs. We never determine a person by their age or condition. To us, everyone is individual and will have their very own personal care needs. Our highly professional, kind and respectful carers develop a trusting relationship with you. They get to know you and your routine – what you do and don’t like. Healthcare at Home: At Nayland Care, our home carers are fully trained to provide medication support. If you or a loved one is taking medication – perhaps a few different types – it can be difficult to manage. Especially if you must take different pills at varying times of the day; some with food and others without. At Nayland Care, our home carers are fully trained to provide medication support. They’re only too happy to manage you or your family member’s medication and liaise with doctors and pharmacists to order more. In delivering healthcare at home and providing support with medication, our home carers are trained in accordance with the widely accepted UKHCA medication policy. Companionship Care: At Nayland Care, we believe that how our clients feel is important to their overall wellbeing. That’s why all our services have an element of companion care. Whether our home carers are there to help with household tasks or personal care, you’ll benefit from a meaningful human connection. We passionately believe that nobody should feel lonely. Yes, circumstances change and regular opportunities for social engagement lessen, but the need for social interaction doesn’t disappear. If anything, the need for companionship becomes greater. Palliative Care: We never determine a person by their age or stage of life. Instead, we take a holistic approach to palliative care. What this means is that we take great care and time to understand your exact personal, medical, social and emotional needs to create a palliative care plan to help you live well. Whilst our palliative carers appreciate the complexities that come with having a life-limiting illness, they understand the value of supportive care. In our view, palliative care at home should enable you to have a good quality of life. This includes keeping as well and active as possible. Domestic Home Help: Our home help domestic service makes lighter work of keeping on top of everyday household tasks that perhaps you find more difficult or simply don’t wish to spend your time on. Unlike conventional domestic services, our home help service is built into your agreed individual home care plan. There may be some activities you like to do and bring a sense of routine to your day, but there may be others that you find a bind or even tricky. Dementia Care: Our carers appreciate that dementia can often be as challenging for the person living with the condition as it is for family and friends. It’s not easy watching your loved one change in what can often be quite a profound way. It can be confusing and scary. But with the right dementia care at home support, we can help you manage the everyday challenges of living with dementia so that all those aspects of life that feel lost have the chance to resurface again.
