We’re celebrating our 45th birthday this year and have taken a quick look back over the years. We’re celebrating our 45th birthday this year and looking back over how we played our part in advancing the industry. In 1968, MCM Ltd was set up to develop moisture standards for the UK defence industry. We then went on to develop a silicon chip sensor that provided superior performance compared to previous technology. The silicon chip sensor used a temperature control feature that enabled it to maintain a constant temperature for more accurate readings. Even today, we’re still the only manufacturer to take advantage of this technology. The latest products in our range focus on ease of use, quality of data capture and speed. In 5 years’ time when MCM Ltd is 50 we hope to have pushed the boundaries further.
