LEBC Leicester offer advice and assistance to young people, parents, schools, colleges and employers looking for work experience placements, apprenticeship vacancies and personal development opportunities. We work closely with Leicester-based year 10 students to find rewarding work experience placements in their chosen field, allowing them to gain practical skills and knowledge to improve future job prospects. As a STEM ambassador, we also offer year 12 students the opportunity to undertake a 4 week Nuffield Research placement providing real life experience in the world of research. During the Summer holidays, we offer 15-17 year olds across the UK the opportunity to take part in the National Citizen Service (NCS). NCS allows students to develop confidence, independance and leadership skills that help your cv to really stand out.
