Nylon Cast Products

Nylon 6G Cast Polyamide produced by direct polymerisation. Due to its casting process, this material is available in almost any size of sheet, rod and tube, as well as the ability to be custom cast to specific shapes. Furthermore it is possible to modify product formulation with various additives to enhance performance and to suit applications. Nylon 6G Natural: Compared to extruded Nylon 6, Cast grades have higher tensile and mechanical strength, and greater dimensional stability, as well as improved wear and abrasion resistance. Physical, thermal and mechanical properties can be further improved with the addition of additives to the Cast Nylon formulae. Nylon 6G MF Black: using an MOS2 filler, moisture absorption is reduced, which also provides internal lubrication, improving wear resistance and reduces friction, even at temperatures up to 100 deg C. Nylon 6 G OF Green / Yellow: internally lubricated with mineral oil filler, which improves friction coefficient by up to 50%, and wear resistance fivefold. Moisture absorption is significantly improved.
