We, at KCIL, provide Disabled in Kingston independent living support. KCIL’s mission is to
provide information, advice and support to all disabled people living in the Royal Borough of
Kingston and the surrounding areas and to empower them to have a voice, take control of their
lives, and be treated equally and not to consider Disability in Kingston-upon-Thames as a
weakness.
The core services we provide include:

● SEND Brokerage
● Personal Health Budgets
● Information and Advice
● Working as a Personal Assistant (PA)

Our current projects include the Visual Impairment Parliament in conjunction with the Thomas
Pocklington Trust and a Heritage Lottery funded oral history project, ‘Fighting for our Rights’.
