Do you realise how the weather affects timber? In hot weather timber can shrink, split and crack as the moisture in it is absorbed by the drier atmosphere. Whereas in wet weather, the opposite happens moisture from the atmosphere is absorbed by the timber causing it to swell. This is a natural characteristic of wood, for which we bear no responsibility. Please bear this in mind when using timber for any project.
