As standard the Cleanmaster welding filter is equipped with a pre-filter, deep-pocketed bag filter, and a separate large HEPA filter. This combination not only gives the highest filtration efficiency at over 99.999% (DOP) but also provides an incredibly long filter life. This is achieved by separating out the fume particles in stages. Firstly the larger particles are separated in the pre filter, the deep-pocketed bag section then filters the main bulk of the fume particles. Lastly the HEPA filter filters any sub micron particles. Another benefit of this filter combination is that the unit can be used for grinding dust, as well as welding fume. Something you may have needed a cartridge based unit for in the past, which is more expensive.
