The cushioning and protection properties inherent in the honeycomb can be designed into any customised protective storage and packaging solution. The system's complete flexibility makes it ideal for customers who want to source a perfectly suited yet environmentally sound and cost-effective solution. The characteristics of the system make it eminently suitable for all kinds of products. It is strong enough to secure and protect heavy industrial components, yet lightweight with excellent cushioning to safeguard the most vulnerable, delicate items. Dufaylite customised packaging is individually tailored for each product type, either as stand-alone outer packaging or for in-carton applications. Ideally suited to unusual product shapes and sizes, customised packaging can be created with apertures, die-cutting, slit scores, compressed honeycomb cushioning and other converting options to meet specific requirements. Because all Dufaylite packaging products are manufactured from recycled materials, they are extremely cost-efficient when compared to other traditional packaging methods such as plastics, expanded foams, laminated or die-cut corrugated boards, and other materials. More importantly, they are kind to the environment, 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable, attracting minimum recycling cost penalties in line with current government legislation on the creation and disposal of waste.
