International Cheese & Dairy Awards
As a major player in packaging for the cheese and dairy sector, we were the proud key sponsors of the 2023 International Cheese and Dairy Awards. This year’s fantastic event was held, as always, at the impressive Staffordshire Showground on the 29th and 30th of June. All the UK’s top dairy brands were there, with the cheese judging rooms emulating vast supermarkets with rows of cheesy delights.
Atlas’s Area Sales Account Manager, James Lyle, attended the event with a display promoting Atlas, including our cardboard replica of the film character Wall-E. Wall-E clearly knew how to ‘cheddar’ attention, as he became a big talking point, holding a block of cardboard cheese in his hands.
James and the team spoke to many of the key industry players, using the opportunity to explain Atlas Packaging’s involvement with the cheese and dairy industry and how we make cheese-specific shelf-ready packaging that’s purpose-built for the demands of the industry. Our solutions for sustainable and refrigerated packaging proved a hit with plenty of exhibitors and visitors.
