Flagship Telepresence and Video Conference Suite

Tele-presence provides organisations with the ability to communicate in a high definition immersive environment. Our brief was to fit our the UK office, one of two identical suites, to enable a truly immensive environment on both sides of the Atlantic. The technical brief included the need to integrate tele-presence with a video and audio conferencing and required a hybrid system incorporating video conferencing and audio visual system. An LCD screen was wall mounted to display laptop, resident PC, DVD, Video and TV broadcast along with the tele-presence and video conferencing. The audio required discreet positioning of the microphones and speakers to cover the deating arrangement. Table microphones were counter-cunk into the boardroom table and sound processed for the video and audio conferencing facilities. The AV and VC equioment were housed in a dedicated rack and controlled using a Crestron touchpanel controller. The system was programmed to provide the user with a simple intuitive means to operate the complex system.
