Artificial Grass Hillocks at Wildfowl & Wetlands Martin Mere Rushes Play Space Posted on Friday 23rd November, 2012 2012 saw the opening of Rushes Play Area at Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust Martin Mere in Lancashire with SSP artificial grass hillocks. Martin Mere is the third play area for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust that SSP has installed safety surfacing into. Previously SSP has installed artificial grass and wet pour rubber surfacing into Slimbridge and Welly boot Land at London Wetlands Centre. The artificial grass hillock have proved popular with parents in the warm weather for taking naps while their children play.
