DAVE Embedded is a well-established and constantly growing company based on the beautiful region of Porcia in Italy. We've worked with DAVE Embedded for a long time and over the years they have released some really compelling technology, but they have really hit a sweet spot in the market with the Axel family of SoCs, based on the i.MX6 processors from NXP. The AXEL family of System on Modules (SoM) from DAVE Embedded are based on the i.MX6 processors from NXP. AXEL Lite is an ARM Cortex-A9 CPU module offering users extensive on board I/O, including dual CAN, USB, Ethernet GB and native 3.3V power. AXEL Lite is SWaP optimised and supports extensive computing applications with up to 2GB wide range DDR3 RAM memory. AXEL ULite defines a new limit in low power consumption with its ARM Cortex A7 architecture and i.MX6 Ultra Lite application processor. The use of this processor enables a wide range of applications where power consumption, connectivity and extremely compact form factor (67.5 mm x 25.5 mm) are key requirements. Both the AXEL Lite and AXEL ULite SOMs are available in an evaluation kit, which include the SOM and all necessary accessories required for fast and easy development. AXEL LITE OVERVIEW Processor: NXP/Freescale i.MX6 AXEL LITE is the new Single - Dual - Quad Core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU module by DAVE Embedded Systems, based on the recent NXP/Freescale i.MX6 application processor. It allows customers the chance to save time and resources by using a compact solution that permits to reach scalable performances that perfectly fits the application requirements avoiding complexities on the carrier board. The use of this processor enables it to be used in extensive applications in many industry fields, where high-performance and extremely compact form factor (67,5 mm x 45 mm) are key factors. AXEL LITE offers great computational power, thanks to the rich set of peripherals, the Scalable ARM Cortex-A9 together with a large set of high-speed I/Os. AXEL ULITE OVERVIEW Processor: NXP/Freescale i.MX6 UL / i.MX6 ULL AXEL ULite is based on the recent NXP/Freescale i.MX6 Ultra Lite application processor. AXEL ULite offers low power consumption with its ARM Cortex A7 architecture and allows customers to design a new concept of Embedded IoT devices. The use of this processor enables it to be used in extensive applications in many industry fields, where power consumption, connectivity, and extremely compact form factor (67,50 mm x around 25,40 mm) are key factors.
