RUSTBUSTER ECO-CLEANER RUST REMOVER ? Eco-Cleaner is a safe and easy-to-use gel for removing rust, mill scale, green algae, barnacles, limestone and more from steel, stainless steel, masonry and stone. Biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Ready to use straight out of the bottle. Acid-free product, so will not harm the material being cleaned. Multiple applications around the workshop, garage, home and garden. After removing loose rust and dirt with a wire brush or abrasive pad, brush some Eco-Cleaner onto the area to be treated and leave it to do its work. Simply add a little more as?necessary so that it doesn't dry out, or wrap the area in polythene to keep it moist.?Removal of rust and contaminents typically takes 4-24 hours.? You can see the results in the image below. Components that may have appeared permanently rusted came up super-clean after a day's application with Eco-Cleaner.? ? The lower section of the components above were coated for 24 hours. ? You can also use Eco-Cleaner as a dipping solution: pour some in a container and leave components to soak in the Eco-Cleaner. Product description Clear jelly-like fluid used to remove corrosion, mill scale, green algae, barnacles and limestone. Direction for use. Prior to application, remove by wire brush any loose scaling, rust and contamination to allow best penetration of the product. Spread the gel evenly over the surface by brush or roller and allow time for the product to activate and cleaning to take place. Reapply as necessary to keep the area moist with Eco-Cleaner. Once removal has taken place, wash the surface down using Rustbuster Chlor?X Salt Remover and coat with either Rustbuster Bor-8 Rust Inhibitor or your chosen coating (i.e. paint, wax etc.) to prevent further corrosion. Cleaning Brushes and containers can be washed out in fresh water. Safety Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.
