Rapid and accurate cutting and welding

Wherever the machining accuracy of robotic arms and gantry systems does not suffice, the FormCutter is employed as an additional axis system. The infeed motion is still controlled by the basic axis system. But the cutting motion is executed by the FormCutter at much greater speed and accuracy. For welding applications too, the X/Y axis system controls the dynamic and precise motion of the machining head above the component. The so-called FormWelder produces spatially limited 2D weld seams quickly and accurately. A process monitoring function is also able to check the quality of the weld online, enabling safety-relevant components such as ISOFIX clamps and closures for doors or engine hoods to be solidly welded.
