Inkjet printers disperse inks onto a surface where they dry in place to form the final printed design. This means that inkjet labels will have materials that are slightly absorbant as this helps to ensure that the inks dry in place, which improves print accuracy and quality. Inkjet printers are capable of product high resolution prints, which is ideal if you need to produce high quality, professional labels that feature complex images or design work.
Inkjet labels can be used for a wide variety of label applications, although they are particularly popular for decorative applications. It should be noted that inkjet inks are not waterproof (meaning they will run if they get wet or are handled extensively) but we do supply a specialist range of waterproof inkjet labels.
