As with all our Synthetic Wood products, this 50 x 25mm plank is made from recycled crushed CD cases but have the look and feel of wood. From a distance, the differences in appearance are indistinguishable, but in terms of performance, they can't be any more different.

Wood rots, cracks, splinters and chips, and succumbs easily to water and cold weather. However, with plastic wood, it isn't affected at all. It has the highest level of UV protection and the life cost of plastic wood compared to traditional wood is unquestionable.
