Emergency Exits are a fundamental safety feature of almost every type of building, but for security reasons, you don't want them used except in a genuine emergency.
The Break Glass Emergency Key Box from Insight Security provides a simple way to leave a key safely by the exit so it is always available when needed to unlock the exit door.
In the event of an emergency the glass in the front of the key box is broken to release the key to the exit door, however the key box deters casual use of the key.
Following emergency use, the glass panel in the front of the key box is simply replaced, the key returned to its hook and the key box locked again ready for the next emergency.
