Nano Elecro Titanium Pools and Spa Electric Heaters 1-6kw models (2+3kw Pool models are Plug and Play models) 1. Description Specifically designed to ensure maximum safety, reliability and efficiency, the Elecro Nano pool heater is user-friendly and offers ‘plug & play’ installation on the Pool only models, all other models listed can be used on either Spa's or used on a pool. The thermostat dial gives you control over the desired pool temperature, while the thermal safety cut-out avoids over-heating. Please note all the Spa models do not come with a plug and cable. Robust and reliable, this heater is made to last, affording you the perfect pool temperature with easy to use controls. All Elecro electric heaters feature their unique and proven coiled heating element technology whereby a turbulent vortex is created in the water flow. This delivers outstanding efficiency and extended life expectancy by preventing the build up of mineral deposits on the heating element. The heater can be vertically wall-mounted or stand on the floor with the control components on the top face casing. Screw fit adapters are supplied to allow connection to standard above ground pool flexible pipe work, while the water inlet and outlet fittings can be connected to either metric or imperial standard pipes. Safety and equipment protection is provided by a flow switch that operates from as low as 1000 litres per hour. Over-heating protection is provided by a thermal cut-out with manual reset. The Nano electric pool/spa heater has an output of 1 to 6kw As it is an electric heater, for every 1kw it consumes of power it will  deliver 1kw of pool heat into the water. Note that the maximum size of electric heater that can run from a UK 13A socket is 3kw, so the 4kw, 5kw and 6kw need hard wiring. All Spa models do not come with a plug so will need hard wiring. Our Sunspring heat pumps output up to 10kw of pool heat from only 1.7kw of electricity and so have much lower running costs than electric pool heaters and they can plug into  a standard 13A power socket. 5. Installation Installation on the 2+3kw Pool models is straight forward as the unit comes with a 13 amp plug which can be plugged directly into the mains socket, the Spa models need hard wiring into the mains. The flow rate of water into the heater must not exceed 17,000 litres per hour (17m 3 /hour/3,740 UK gallons per hour). A higher flow rate will require the installation of a by - pass to prevent damage to the heater elements. NOTE: The heater will not operate unless the following minimum flow rates are achieved: 1,000 litres/hour (1m 3 /hour / 220 UK gallons/hour) . 6.
